At Watau, we’re committed to delivering high-quality products and a smooth customer experience. If you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward return process for your peace of mind.


How to Start a Return

To begin a return, email us at support@watau.com with your name and order number. Our team will guide you through the process and provide return instructions.


Return & Refund Details

Return Window:
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.

Refund Amount:
Full product price, minus:

  • Return shipping label cost
  • A small restocking fee of $5 AUD

(Unless covered under our fit guarantee — see below)

Payment Method:
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Fit Guarantee:
If your product does not fit your tap or system, you will receive a full refund with no fees.


Refund Processing Timeline

Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–10 business days.
Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to finalise the refund.


Exceptions & Guidelines

Damaged or Incorrect Items:
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 14 days and we’ll resolve it promptly.

Used Filter Cartridges:
For hygiene reasons, used or opened cartridges cannot be returned.

Incomplete Returns:
Items returned without all original parts may not be eligible for a full refund.

Misuse or Damage:
Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or modification is not covered.


International Orders

Customers outside Australia are responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method.


Non-Returnable Orders

Orders that have been:

  • Replaced
  • Reshipped
  • Partially refunded

may not be eligible for return.


Additional Information

Shipping Damage:
Report any shipping damage within 14 days of delivery.

Product Care:
For optimal performance:

  • Keep water temperature below 40°C
  • Maintain pressure under recommended limits

Refund Approval

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

Subscription Refund Policy

If you are subscribed to Watau products:

Cancellation Timing:
If you cancel after an order has been processed, the cancellation will apply to future orders only.

Order Cancellation Requests:
If your order has already been processed, contact us immediately.
We will try to assist, but once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.
